On June 25, the ceremonial opening of the first regional branch of the "National Center for Agricultural Development", which was established on the initiative of farms and financial institutions, was held in Lviv. Participants of the event were greeted by the Director General of the Union, Lyudmila Tymoshenko, group leader, "Technical Assistance Project for Support to Agricultural Livelihoods in the EIB in Ukraine», Don Van Atta, Agribusiness Development Specialist of USAID’s Project "Support for Agrarian and Rural Development" Alexander Osovets, Regional Director Roman Rosmus, Deputy Director of the Department of Agrarian and Industrial Policy of Lviv Regional State Administration Pavel Dyggalo, President of National Association of Agricultural Advisory Services of Ukraine Ivan Pankov, Head of Lviv Branch of Association of Farmers and Private Landowners of Ukraine Yaroslav Kardash, General Director of Credit Union "Anisia" Volodymyr Sidorovsky, representatives of banks, heads of farms and Agricultural Service Cooperative.
